Vacation rental in Darmstadt: seven studios by the Orangerie

Looking for a vacation rental in Darmstadt that is clean, well located and hassle-free? At Jahnstraße 1 in the Bessungen district we rent out seven modern studios, each for up to two guests. Every apartment has its own bathroom, a kitchenette, a workspace and Wi-Fi. The “Orangerie” tram stop is approx. 100 metres away, the Orangerie garden (a baroque park) approx. 300 metres. Here you book directly with the host – no booking platform in between.

Accommodation in Darmstadt with your own bathroom and kitchen

Our studios are not hotel rooms but small, fully furnished apartments. You sleep in a double bed with fresh linen, find towels, shampoo and shower gel in your private bathroom and can cater for yourself in the kitchenette: a hob, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans and crockery are all provided.

A table serves as both dining area and desk, plus there is a TV, blackout blinds and a wardrobe. All studios share the same style and amenities; layouts and a few details differ slightly. The photos and descriptions of each studio will help you choose.

All seven studios are designed for one or two guests. The differences are in the details:

Location: quiet in Bessungen, quick to the city centre

Bessungen lies just south of Darmstadt's city centre and is one of the city's most historic districts. Cafés, restaurants and shops are right on the doorstep; in their reviews, guests particularly mention the nearby bakery and ice-cream café.

All distances are as the crow flies. From the main station there are good connections to Frankfurt, Mannheim and Heidelberg.

How your stay works

You choose your studio and dates, see the total price including all fees and pay securely via Stripe. A few days before arrival you receive a link to online check-in. After that you get your personal access code – there is no key to collect.

Check-in is between 15:00 and 20:00, check-out by 11:00. There is no traditional reception; if you have questions, you can reach us by email or phone. On Airbnb our response rate is 100 %, and we usually reply within an hour.

FAQ

How many people can stay in one apartment?

Each studio sleeps up to two people and has a double bed. If you are travelling as a larger group, you can book several studios in the same building.

Does every apartment have a kitchen?

Yes, every studio has a kitchenette with hob, fridge, coffee maker and crockery; pots, pans, oil, salt, pepper and coffee are provided. Depending on the studio, it is a compact kitchen nook or a longer kitchenette.

Are towels and bed linen included?

Yes. Bed linen, towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper are included in the price. There is no hairdryer – please bring your own if you need one.

Where can I park my car?

There is free on-street parking, although spaces right in front of the building are not always available. Paid parking spaces on the property are available on request – please ask us in advance.

Is there air conditioning?

No, the studios do not have air conditioning. Portable fans are provided for warm days, and there is heating for the colder months.
