Long stays in Darmstadt: furnished studios from 28 nights

A project, a research visit or a longer work assignment: if you are coming to Darmstadt for several weeks or months, you need more than a hotel room. Our seven furnished studios in Bessungen are also suitable for long-term stays from 28 nights – with your own kitchenette, workspace, Wi-Fi and everything you need for everyday life.

Furnished and ready to move in

Arrive with your suitcase and get started right away. Every studio is fully furnished: double bed with linen, wardrobe with hangers, a table for eating and working, TV and a kitchenette with hob, fridge, freezer space, pots, pans and crockery. Towels and basics such as soap and toilet paper are included.

You don't have to set up electricity, heating or Wi-Fi yourself – you pay one total price that includes all fees.

Who a long stay with us is right for

Project and installation assignments: several weeks on site, with colleagues in other studios in the same building if you wish.
Science and research: visiting stays at TU Darmstadt (City Centre campus approx. 1.8 km), Hochschule Darmstadt – University of Applied Sciences (approx. 1.5 km), EUMETSAT (approx. 1.8 km) or ESA ESOC (approx. 2.5 km).
Accompanying relatives: Klinikum Darmstadt (hospital) is approx. 1.7 km away.

All distances are as the crow flies.

Everyday life with washing machine and cleaning

On longer stays, the practical things matter. A washing machine and dryer are available in the building for a fee. Cleaning during your stay is available on request. Extra pillows and blankets, blackout blinds, heating and portable fans keep you comfortable in every season.

Daily shopping is close by: there are cafés, restaurants and shops in the immediate neighbourhood.

Location: quiet living, quick to everywhere

Jahnstraße is in Bessungen, a historic district just south of the city centre. The Orangerie garden (approx. 300 m) is perfect for an after-work stroll; the Orangerie tram stop is approx. 100 m from the building. Luisenplatz in the city centre is approx. 1.5 km away, the main station approx. 2.2 km (both as the crow flies). Many errands can also be done on foot or by bike.

From how many nights does a stay count as a long stay?

Long-term stays are possible with us from 28 nights. Shorter stays are booked as a regular vacation rental.

Are utilities included in the price?

Yes. The total price shown is a final price including all fees; there is no separate bill for electricity, heating or Wi-Fi. Only extras such as the washing machine and dryer in the building or a parking space on the property cost extra.

Is the studio cleaned during my stay?

Cleaning during your stay is available. Just get in touch so we can arrange a suitable time.

Can I do laundry?

Yes, a washing machine and dryer are available in the building for a fee.

How do I pay for a longer stay?

Full payment is made securely via Stripe when you book. For very long stays, feel free to contact us in advance.
